For a guy who claims to have no inside information you sure talk like you do. Who told you about his bad attitude? EK? Hockey Insider? Links? |

Why are you so certain Hall will be captain? He has NEVER been captain at any level he's played. I still think that Eberle is more likely. |

Contrary to popular belief, Horcs doesn't exactly have the greatest attitude, especially towards the team itself. He works hard and tries hard, but Horcs and management haven't exactly been close since the team gave the guy a huge pile of money only to see his stats sag.
From what I understand, the team would have gotten rid of Horcoff at the same time too if it wasn't for his contract.
Horcoff will be first to go, followed by Ben Eager and Eric Belanger. All three will be more or less gone for the same reason: They have a bad attitude.
I don't think the kids, who are the heart and soul of this team, look to Horcoff for leadership. I don't really think they look to a guy like Ryan Smyth either
When Horcoff goes, Taylor Hall will become captain and the team will respond. I don't care what age Hall is; he's exactly the guy you want to lead this team as they move forward.
You have no idea and no sources as to the truth of any of this. Can't you just stick to trolling? |

Ulcerative Colitis i believe. It got pretty bad at one point and was a long road back to playing again. Think he ended up with the hawks for a bit. |

You seem to write a lot of blogs with the idea of Edmonton getting rid of everyone apart from the kids. I'm wondering... what vets do you expect to be on the team when they win the cup?
Mitchel/Scuderi
Recchi/Chara
Madden/Sopel
Gonchar/Gill/Satan
Chelios/Maltby/Lidstrom/Draper
O'Donnell/Niedermayer/Selanne
Brind'Amor/Whitney/Hedican
Those guys were all 33+, and had been on their team over a year when they won the cup. More often than not, at least one of these players was an integral part of their team winning the cup. And this list doesn't even include trade deadline type vets acquired by winning teams, like Weight, Guerin, Recchi with Car, etc.
My point is... Edmonton needs vets who have been on the team longer than a year when they are pushing for a cup. Who do you expect those players to be? |

He wants an entire team of players under 25. Don't take his word as that of Oilers Nation. |

Another month and Hall might catch the other 3 for tops in the league in points. |

Richard I don't know how you figure Lander is going to be the third line C post lockout??? The guy is stuggling bigtime in the AHL. He doesn't have the foot speed to keep up to the game in the NHL. He's still young but he's not even close to panning out as of right now. |

Schultz is just sick. He is currently on pace for 120 pts.
Not bad for a rookie D-man |

Lander was never considered to be an offensive dynamo. They got him for his strong def play, and leadership skills.
You are right though, he really needs to pick it up if he ever wants to make the big club again. |

we have no one currently outside of belanger (whom clouts also hates and claims the oilers are trying to get rid of) that could take his place. even next year |
